Jingran arrives in Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 Phase 2 as a 5-Star Fusion Broadblade Main DPS, with his Featured Resonator Convene opening on September 10, 2026. Unlike traditional DPS units that mostly scale through ATK, Jingran's build centers on Max HP, Shields, Heavy Attacks, and CRIT.

His main damage comes from Heavy Attack - Soul Raid and Heavy Attack - Stardome Meander, with his rotation built around Qi, Yin Vessel , and Yang Font. Max HP also affects his Shields, Fusion DMG Bonus, and additional ATK, making it one of the most important stats in a Jingran build.

This Jingran build guide covers his best Weapons, Echoes, Teams, Materials, and Rotation, so you can finish his setup quickly after pulling him and take him straight into Mengzhou.

Planning to pull Jingran and his signature weapon, Thousandfold Deliverance? You can use Wuthering Waves Top Up  on GamsGo to prepare before his banner goes live.

Jingran Wuthering Waves

Quick Build Summary: Prioritize enough Max HP, CRIT, and Energy Regen. Use the Lamp of Nether Road 5-Piece set with Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis as the Main Echo. His best weapon is Thousandfold Deliverance.

Jingran is not a character you build by simply stacking ATK. Max HP affects his Shields, Fusion DMG Bonus, additional ATK, Fortune in Disguise, and his core Heavy Attacks during Yinghuo. That makes Max HP a real damage stat in his build.

The main targets to keep in mind are: around 50,000 Max HP, a solid CRIT ratio, consistent Resonance Liberation uptime, and then more Heavy Attack damage.

Do not keep DEF or DEF% rolls for Jingran. His Nether to Light fixes his DEF at 0, so DEF on Echoes provides no real value for his build.

Jingran Kit Breakdown

Jingran's skill descriptions are long, but the parts that matter most in combat can be broken down into four systems: Shields, Qi, Yin Vessel / Yang Font, and Yinghuo. Once you understand how these resources connect, his Rotation becomes much easier to follow.

01

Shield → Ghost Shroud

Jingran can generate Shields for himself frequently. Whenever he or a teammate gains a Shield, it helps him build Ghost Shroud and prepare for his later Fusion DMG buffs.

02

300 Qi

Qi caps at 300. Once Jingran reaches 300 Qi, he can use Soul Raid or Stardome Meander and switch between Yin Vessel and Yang Font.

03

Fortune in Disguise

His Intro Skill consumes his current Ghost Shroud and converts it into Fortune in Disguise. This effect scales with Max HP to further increase Fusion DMG.

04

Yinghuo

Resonance Liberation puts Jingran into Yinghuo for 15 seconds and grants Fire of Life and Wayfarer's Mark. This is Jingran's main Heavy Attack burst window.

Jingran Skills

Most of Jingran's core damage is tied to Heavy Attacks, so when reading his kit, focus on Qi generation, stance switching, and which attacks count as Heavy Attack DMG.

Skill TypeOfficial NameHow It Works
Basic AttackEdge of Life and DeathIn Yin Vessel, Jingran uses Basic Attack - Drink Soul. In Yang Font, he uses Basic Attack - Devil's Bane. Stage 3 and Stage 4 of both Basic Attack chains restore Qi, and their damage is considered Heavy Attack DMG.
Resonance SkillMalevolent EncounterJingran uses Encroaching Yin or Scorching Yang based on his current state and gains Cleanse of Impurity. He can then follow with Netherworld Traverse or Afterlife's Guide to restore more Qi. Their damage is also considered Heavy Attack DMG.
Resonance LiberationBurial of Thousand SoulsDeals Fusion DMG that is considered Heavy Attack DMG. After casting it, Jingran gains 100 Fire of Life, 200 Qi, and 3 Wayfarer's Mark, then enters Yinghuo for 15 seconds.
Forte CircuitUpstream Along SantuJingran's core damage mechanic. At 300 Qi, he can use Heavy Attack - Soul Raid or Heavy Attack - Stardome Meander, consuming Qi and switching between Yin Vessel and Yang Font.
Intro SkillQuestion the TombsWhen Jingran enters the field, this deals Fusion DMG and restores Qi. It also consumes all Ghost Shroud and converts it into Fortune in Disguise, increasing Fusion DMG based on Max HP.
Outro SkillRising Fortune and Ebbing EvilJingran deals Fusion DMG when he leaves the field. His Outro Skill is not the main source of team buffs, so your supports should usually finish their setup first and then give Jingran the longer on-field window.

The recommended skill priority is Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation / Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill.

Forte Circuit has the highest priority because Soul Raid and Stardome Meander are Jingran's most important Heavy Attacks. Basic Attack should not be ignored either, since Stage 3 and Stage 4 deal damage and help generate Qi.

Jingran Key Mechanics

To understand why Jingran values Max HP so much, focus on the Inherent Skills and Forte Effects below.

TypeOfficial NameEffectBuild Impact
Inherent SkillHark the DustAfter using Question the Tombs, Encroaching Yin, or Scorching Yang, Jingran gains Earth Charm. While he is on the field, dealing damage periodically grants him a Shield based on Max HP.This lets Jingran trigger the Shield-based effects of Lamp of Nether Road and Thousandfold Deliverance on his own.
Inherent SkillTrace the VestigeJingran gains Ghost Shroud when entering combat. He also gains additional Ghost Shroud when other teammates receive a Shield. This gives Jingran extra synergy with teammates who can provide Shields consistently.
Forte EffectNether to LightJingran's DEF is fixed at 0. Max HP also grants Incoming Healing Bonus and Fusion DMG Bonus.HP is a core stat for Jingran, while DEF / DEF% has almost no build value.
Forte EffectYang Changes, Yin UnitesMax HP is also converted into additional ATK, improving parts of Jingran's damage that still use ATK multipliers.Jingran does not need to sacrifice large amounts of HP just to raise his ATK stat.

Why aim for around 50,000 Max HP?
This target lets Jingran get most of the value from his Max HP scaling while also improving his Shields, Fusion DMG Bonus, additional ATK, and core Heavy Attacks.

Jingran Rotation

Jingran's Rotation is built around letting teammates finish their buffs first, then bringing Jingran in with his Intro Skill, building Qi quickly, and chaining a 300 Qi Heavy Attack into his Yinghuo burst window.

  1. Let your Support / Sub-DPS finish their setup and get the team buffs ready.
  2. Swap to Jingran through Intro Skill - Question the Tombs
  3. Use the Resonance Skill that matches his current state, then follow with Netherworld Traverse or Afterlife's Guide
  4. Use Basic Attack Stage 3 / Stage 4 to top off Qi. At 300 Qi, cast Soul Raid or Stardome Meander
  5. Cast Burial of Thousand Souls to enter Yinghuo.
  6. During Yinghuo, keep generating Qi quickly and fit in as many 300 Qi Heavy Attacks as possible.
  7. Once Yinghuo or your main team buffs end, swap back to your Support and start the next Rotation.

Jingran Resonance Chains

Jingran has his full core kit at S0. Later Resonance Chains mainly improve Heavy Attack damage, resource cycling, and his Max HP scaling.

S1 ★★★

Yin and Yang in Harmony, the Ultimate Law of Being

Boosts Encroaching Yin, Netherworld Traverse, Scorching Yang, and Afterlife's Guide while also improving interruption resistance. This node mainly raises skill damage and makes his combos harder to interrupt.

S2 ★★★★★

A Solitary Lantern, Across Lands Shade-Trodden

Directly boosts Soul Raid and Stardome Meander while improving Qi and Resonance Energy cycling. It is one of the first major damage upgrades worth considering for his core Heavy Attacks.

S3 ★★★★☆

World's Course Shifts, Each to Their Rightful Paths

Soul Raid and Stardome Meander can generate additional Ghost Shroud. After Burial of Thousand Souls, the Max HP-to-ATK conversion also becomes more efficient.

S4 ★★★★

Where Reality Meets Illusion, Where Living Meet Dead

When a team member gains a Shield, the whole team receives All-Attribute DMG Bonus. From this node onward, Jingran also provides a direct team-wide buff.

S5 ★★

Ends Return to Beginnings, Truth of Life Laid Bare

If Jingran takes lethal damage, he avoids being knocked out and gains a Shield based on Max HP. This node is mainly focused on survivability.

S6 ★★★★★

As Favors and Feuds Fade, New Stories Await

Greatly boosts Jingran's Heavy Attacks and Chimei Wangliang while further increasing his Yinghuo burst damage. This is the final damage-focused node for high-investment builds.

For most players, S0 already gives Jingran everything he needs to function. If you want to invest further, S2 is the first major damage upgrade, while S3 adds more value to his Max HP scaling.

Best Echoes Set for Jingran

Jingran's best Sonata Effect is Lamp of Nether Road. It gives him HP and raises his CRIT Rate and Fusion DMG when he gains a Shield, making it a near-perfect match for his kit.

Jingran
Lamp of Nether Road

Best Sonata Effect

Lamp of Nether Road

The 2-Piece bonus gives HP. The 5-Piece bonus raises CRIT Rate when the Resonator gains a Shield and can stack multiple times. At max stacks, it also grants Fusion DMG Bonus. Jingran can gain Shields often, so he can keep these bonuses active easily.

Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis

Best Main Echo

Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis

The Echo Skill deals Fusion DMG based on Max HP. When equipped as the Main Echo, it also increases Fusion DMG and Heavy Attack DMG, which directly supports Jingran's main damage sources.

Crown of Valor

Alternative

Crown of Valor

If you do not have a full Lamp of Nether Road set yet, you can use high-quality Echoes you already own as a temporary option. Jingran can still benefit from Shield-related bonuses, but Lamp of Nether Road is the better long-term set.

Echo Main Stats and Substats

Jingran can currently use either a 4-4-1-1-1 or 4-3-3-1-1 Echo Cost setup. Do not give up strong Echoes you already have just to force a specific layout.

BuildRecommended Main StatsNotes
4-4-1-1-14 COST: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
4 COST: CRIT DMG / CRIT Rate
1 COST ×3: HP%
Two 4 COST Echoes make it easier to balance CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, while three 1 COST HP% Echoes help raise Max HP. Choose CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the 4 COST pieces based on your final stats.
4-3-3-1-14 COST: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
3 COST: HP%
3 COST: HP%
1 COST ×2: HP%
This is also a solid Max HP build. If you already have strong HP% 3 COST Echoes with good substats, there is no need to refarm just to switch to 4-4-1-1-1.
SubstatsCRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > HP% > Energy Regen > Heavy Attack DMGThe goal is to balance Max HP, your CRIT ratio, and consistent Resonance Liberation uptime instead of pushing one stat as high as possible.
Energy RegenAround 125%Use this as a starting point. If you can cast Burial of Thousand Souls reliably every rotation, there is no need to give up a large amount of HP or CRIT for more Energy Regen.

4-4-1-1-1 or 4-3-3-1-1?
Both work. Keep strong HP% 3 COST Echoes if you already have them. If your two 4 COST CRIT Echoes have better substats, 4-4-1-1-1 is also a great option. Your final stats matter more than the Cost layout itself.

Best Weapons for Jingran

When choosing a Broadblade for Jingran, prioritize HP, CRIT, Heavy Attack DMG, and DEF Ignore. Since Max HP can also convert into additional ATK, a weapon with higher Base ATK is not automatically better for Jingran.

1
Thousandfold Deliverance

Thousandfold Deliverance

★★★★★ · Signature Weapon

Jingran's Best-in-Slot weapon. It provides a large amount of HP and gains additional CRIT and Heavy Attack bonuses through Intro Skill and Shield interactions. It also provides DEF Ignore. Almost every part of the weapon matches Jingran's core kit.

2
Thunderflare Dominion

Thunderflare Dominion

★★★★★ · Premium Alternative

Provides CRIT Rate and can boost Heavy Attacks after an Intro Skill or Resonance Skill. Its Shield-related effect can also provide Heavy Attack DEF Ignore, making it a strong fit for Jingran's normal rotation.

3
Verdant Summit

Verdant Summit

★★★★★ · CRIT DMG Alternative

Provides high CRIT DMG and Attribute DMG Bonus. Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation can further increase Heavy Attack DMG. It does not provide HP, but its overall offensive stats still work very well for Jingran.

4
Ages of Harvest

Ages of Harvest

★★★★★ · CRIT Rate Alternative

The CRIT Rate substat makes it easier to balance Jingran's CRIT ratio. Its passive focuses more on Resonance Skill damage, so it is not as well matched as the top three options, but it is still a reliable 5-Star weapon.

5
Aureate Zenith

Aureate Zenith

★★★★ · 4-Star Option

One of the better 4-Star choices for Jingran. It provides CRIT DMG, and using Resonance Liberation can raise both ATK and Heavy Attack DMG. It performs better at higher Ranks.

6
Autumntrace

Autumntrace

★★★★ · 4-Star Option

Provides CRIT Rate. Basic Attack or Heavy Attack hits can stack ATK. It does not provide HP, but as a 4-Star CRIT weapon, it is a practical option while you finish Jingran's build.

If you plan to use Jingran long term, Thousandfold Deliverance stands out because it covers several of his needs at once, including HP, CRIT, Shield synergy, and Heavy Attack damage.

Best Teams for Jingran

Jingran teams mainly want Heavy Attack amplification, team buffs, healing, and Shield synergy. Iuno works especially well with his Heavy Attack playstyle, while Shorekeeper provides reliable CRIT buffs, DMG buffs, and healing.

Jingran still works well without a full Premium Team. Mortefi can replace Iuno for Heavy Attack amplification, while Verina can cover healing and general team buffs.

Jingran Premium Heavy Attack Team Best Overall
Jingran
Jingran Main DPS
Iuno
Iuno Sub-DPS / Heavy Attack Buffer
Shorekeeper
Shorekeeper Support / Healer

Core Strategy: Iuno provides Heavy Attack synergy and Sub-DPS damage, while Shorekeeper handles CRIT buffs, DMG buffs, and healing. After both supports finish their rotations, bring Jingran in through his Intro Skill and focus on Heavy Attack damage during Yinghuo.

Jingran Heavy Attack Alternative Accessible

Mortefi
Mortefi Sub-DPS / Heavy Attack Buffer
Shorekeeper
Shorekeeper Support / Healer

Core Strategy: If you do not have Iuno, Mortefi is a straightforward replacement. His Outro Skill boosts the next Resonator's Heavy Attacks, which works well for Jingran because Soul Raid and Stardome Meander are his main damage sources.

Jingran Fusion Team Fusion Option
Jingran
Jingran Main DPS
Lupa
Lupa Fusion Support / Sub-DPS
Mornye
Mornye Support / Healer

Core Strategy: Lupa strengthens the Fusion side of the team, while Mornye provides sustain and team buffs. This setup is better suited to players with a more complete 3.x Resonator roster.

Jingran Budget Team Lower Cost
Jingran
Jingran Main DPS
Mortefi
Mortefi Sub-DPS
Verina
Verina Support / Healer

Core Strategy: Mortefi provides Heavy Attack amplification, while Verina handles healing and general team buffs. Its ceiling is lower than the Premium Team, but the core buffs still line up well with Jingran and it is easier to build with a smaller roster.

Iuno is not required for Jingran. Her Heavy Attack synergy makes her a high-priority option for Premium Teams, but Mortefi can also provide effective Heavy Attack amplification.

Beyond Jingran team comps, we also put together our Wuthering Waves Best Teams guide to help you build stronger teams for difficult content.

Jingran + Iuno + Shorekeeper Rotation

  1. Start with Shorekeeper's rotation, cast Resonance Liberation, and set up the team buffs.
  2. Swap to Iuno, complete her Sub-DPS rotation, and prepare the Heavy Attack amplification from her Outro Skill.
  3. Use Iuno's Outro to swap into Jingran, triggering Question the Tombs to gain Qi and convert Ghost Shroud.
  4. Use Jingran's Resonance Skill, Basic Attack Stage 3 / Stage 4, and the first 300 Qi Heavy Attack.
  5. Cast Burial of Thousand Souls to enter Yinghuo and gain Fire of Life and Wayfarer's Mark.
  6. While the main team buffs are still active, use Soul Raid and Stardome Meander as many times as possible.
  7. When Yinghuo or the main buffs end, swap back to Shorekeeper and start the next rotation.

Is Jingran Worth Building?

If you want a Fusion Main DPS built around Max HP, Shields, and Heavy Attacks, Jingran is well worth considering.

Jingran delivers strong Heavy Attack damage while frequently generating Shields for himself. Stacking Max HP improves both his survivability and damage. His Forte Circuit also converts Max HP into Fusion DMG Bonus and additional ATK, so HP is one of his core offensive stats.

For most players, S0 Jingran already has his full core kit. It makes more sense to secure Jingran first, then decide whether to pull his signature weapon, Thousandfold Deliverance, based on the Broadblades you already own instead of investing in higher Resonance Chains right away.

Pull Jingran If

You want to build a Heavy Attack team; you already have Iuno, Shorekeeper, Mortefi, Lupa, or Mornye; or you enjoy a Main DPS that manages Qi, stance switching, and burst windows.

Lower Priority If

You already have a well-built Fusion Main DPS, your account needs a Support more, or you do not want to invest heavily in Echoes to balance around 50,000 Max HP, CRIT, and Energy Regen.

Conclusion

Overall, Jingran is a Fusion Main DPS whose damage depends heavily on how his core mechanics work together. Build around Max HP, CRIT, and a consistent Heavy Attack rotation, and he can combine strong damage with reliable Shields and solid on-field survivability.

Most players do not need to invest heavily right away. Start with Jingran himself and a solid Echo build, then decide whether Thousandfold Deliverance or additional Resonance Chains are worth it based on your current Broadblades, team options, and available Lunites.

If you still need Lunites for Jingran's Featured Resonator Convene, you can check the current Wuthering Waves Top Up options on GamsGo.

FAQ

When Will Jingran Be Released?

Jingran will debut in Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 Phase 2, which begins on September 10, 2026.

What Is Jingran's Best Weapon?

Thousandfold Deliverance is Jingran's Best-in-Slot weapon. It provides HP, CRIT, Shield synergy, and Heavy Attack bonuses, making it a strong match for his overall build.

Should Jingran Use 4-4-1-1-1 or 4-3-3-1-1?

Both work. 4-4-1-1-1 makes it easier to use two CRIT-focused 4 COST Echoes, while 4-3-3-1-1 lets you use more HP% 3 COST Echoes. Choose based on the substats of the Echoes you already have instead of focusing only on the Cost layout.

How Much Max HP Does Jingran Need?

Aim for around 50,000 Max HP as a late-game build target. Max HP affects Jingran's Fusion DMG, additional ATK, Shields, and core Heavy Attacks.

How Much Energy Regen Does Jingran Need?

Start with around 125% Energy Regen. The exact amount depends on your team's energy generation and rotation. The main goal is to cast Burial of Thousand Souls reliably every rotation.

Does Jingran Need DEF?

No. Nether to Light fixes Jingran's DEF at 0, so DEF and DEF% provide almost no value in his Echo build.

What Is Jingran's Best Resonance Chain?

Jingran has his full kit at S0. If you want to invest further, S2 is the first major personal damage upgrade, while S3 further improves the value of converting Max HP into ATK.
